STARK Sourcing is seeking a highly motivated and analytical student to join our Sourcing Business Development team as a Student Analyst & Coordinator. In this role, you will have an important opportunity to work on analytics and various tasks within our European Supplier Program. The European Supplier Program is a partnership program for selected suppliers in STARK Group and You will support our program activities internally and with our suppliers, analyzing supplier performance metrics, and strengthening our way of working with our strategic relationships & activities across Europe.
STARK Sourcing offers a unique opportunity in a fast-paced dynamic international company with a unique opportunity to gain experience working with strategic projects and initiatives and data-driven analytics and insights. Your weekly working hours are expected to be 15-20 hours and flexible within exam periods. Your work at STARK Sourcing is divided into supporting primarily analytical work, reporting, and occasionally process development, as well as handling different administrative assignments and smaller projects. You will be part of a fun and high-performing team and you will play a key role in the continued growth and success of STARKs European Supplier Program.
Your Primary Tasks (including, but not limited to)
- Analyze supplier performance metrics.
- Driving analytical and administrative processes related to our European Supplier Program activities.
- Coordinate & execute on projects and initiatives within the European Supplier Program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders for our project execution.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Prepare reports and presentations for European Supplier meetings.
- Secure attention & updates of our European Supplier Program communication at our intranet.
Who are you?
- You are a high-performing student with strong academic results with at least two years left of your studies
- You are studying a relevant bachelor’s degree or just started your master’s degree e.g. within Supply Chain or Business Analytics/economics-related field
- You are analytical and have strong MS Office skills especially Excel (pivot table) and PowerPoint
- You have a passion for BI tools and a flair for numbers (Sharepoint, Power BI, and PowerApp)
- You have a communicative flair in transforming analytics into key messages for presentation used in management meetings and sourcing activities such as supplier negotiations
- As we are a matrix organization, stakeholder management skills are crucial
- You are fluent in English in both writing and speaking as it is our corporate language
- You are agile but detail oriented and used to working with simultaneous deliveries and short deadlines
