As a Strategy & Planning Associate, you will be an integral player in the GoCar Strategy & Planning team for the pricing stream. You'll take full ownership of various pricing levers, including pricing modeling, machine learning, and experimentation. In short, devising and implementing pricing enhancements with cross-functional teams along the way. You'll have a direct impact on the trajectory of GoCar growth and profitability, ensuring the business maintains its market leadership in Indonesia, Singapore and beyond.
What You Will Do
- Own key pricing objectives, defining strategies and rolling out plans for pricing enhancements.
- Analyze various data points, design experiments and test scalable solutions to drive business and strategic decision-making on pricing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the BI, Data Science, Product Management, Region, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless implementation of all pricing optimisation initiatives.
- Be the go-to person on anything related to the pricing from launching new cities or services to micro-optimization on location or time-based pricing strategies
What You Will Need
- A BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience within one or more of the following fields: Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Accounting, or relevant industries
- Comfortable manipulating large amounts of raw data with an obsession to detail and accuracy of data
- Able to uncover the story and relationship behind the numbers and communicate the insights to a wider audience
- A proactive and team-player attitude
- Proficiency in multiple analytic and database tools common within a marketing organization (e.g.,, Tableau, etc.) along with strong knowledge of SQL and experimentation process
- A scientific and hypothesis-driven thinking process with the ability to work in increments and exponents
- Strong project management skills to manage complex projects and to prioritize and effectively collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders
