Position Summary: 

Responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining key employer stakeholder and infrastructure relationships within New York City (NYC) with sector-specific engagement approaches. Develop and implement a strategic plan to build relationships with key industry partners to identify current and future labor market needs and liaise with other WeCARE departments to connect these opportunities to our clients. Act as a labor market and emerging industry expert, identifying and developing pathways to skills training and pre-employment opportunities that prepare our clients for available jobs. Establish Fedcap’s reputation as a business that is focused on creating outcomes through an attractive and compelling employer offering that provides as many sustainable work-focused opportunities for our clients as possible. 

What You'll Do:

  • Establish relationships within NYC with key stakeholders, including industry experts, employer partners, and referral agencies, to integrate Fedcap as a key partner in creating economic well-being and providing a pipeline to labor market needs, with a focus on high-demand sectors 
  • Create sector-focused employer partnerships across 3 identified HRA sectors, and develop sector-focused solutions which include providing access to our clients to sustainable skills trades professions and career advancement opportunities 
  • Establish strong key relationships with employer partnerships by leading on strategic employer and stakeholder engagement across NYC, creating robust processes that are data-driven and are in line with labor market demands 
  • Maintain, coordinate, and develop effective relationships at the corporate level within our key employer partnerships 
  • Develop a compelling, attractive, tailored offer to an employer that meets their recruitment needs, including sector-specific career training and development, as well as interpersonal skills training, which increases opportunities for our clients and promotes our brand as a full-service employment vacancy fulfillment partner (screening, hiring, recruitment, onboarding, and embedding vocational training) of choice 
  • Provide Employment Services Team (Job Prep and Placement Coordinators and Job Developers) with relevant data and information to highlight sector trends and labor market analysis to best measure skill sets of our existing clients against the needs of our employer partners 
  • Monitor performance against budgeted key performance indicators (KPIs), working with WeCARE departments to support targets, and to ensure our employer offer is consistent across sectors 
  • Drive the growth of our business through proactive relationship-building, the development of employer partnerships, and opportunities to provide commercial services to employers.

You'll be a Great Fit For this Role If:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification or experience in Business Management, Project Management, including strategic development and growth methodologies. 
  • 5 years+ experience in Business Development or Sales. 
  • Experience in workforce development is desirable. 

 

Compensation

 

$70,000-$75,000
