Position Summary
As the Strategic Planning & Investment (SPI) Lead, you play a critical role in providing a data driven data insights to drive the sales of our business. This includes maximizing supply chain management operations efficiently by building mid- and long-term resource management strategy through in-advance-discussions regarding mid- and long-term demands. You will also help improve the demand operation level of sales subsidiaries by complying with rules & processes of supply management and maintaining optimal inventory for distribution. By operating strategic supply forecast considering the lead time based on market demand analysis, you will also help minimize sales opportunity loss and cost in supply chain.Role and Responsibilities
- [Sales forecast management] Leads sales forecasting for the Business unit by comparing channel data and marketing trends, with the forecast of product manager and comparing the bottoms up forecast of the field sales.
- [Market demand analysis] Manages market demand analysis for each segment and model group by analyzing factors (economic trend, marketing plan, launch of competitive product, etc.) which influence market.
- [Trend Analysis] Should be able to analyze channel data and provide relevant insights to the sales channels to guide the channels and or sales/KAMs in doing their sell-in and sell-out forecast based on trends.
- [Operation by securing supply quantity of key materials] Manages selecting key materials and operating them in the system to stabilize supply for mass production of new models.
- [Demand management of sales subsidiaries] Promotes discussion on demand quantity with the related sales subsidiaries and implementation of the guide for strategic decision making of the business unit. [Launch of new model and EOP (End of Production) management] Manages strategy operating 4 cycles of period (introduction, growth, maturity, and decline) from new model launch to EOP.
- [Optimal inventory operation] Manages establishing sale & supply plan for surplus and shortage of inventory to maintain optimal inventory level for distribution in the market and sales subsidiaries.
- [Mid- and long-term resource management planning] Promotes establishing Mid- and long-term resource management planning for preparing long term delivery materials and facilities by discussing the demand for mid- and long-term period (4 to 6 months) in advance.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder with minimum of 9 years relevant work experience
- Excellent Korean language skills are essential (speak, read, and write)
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong background in data-driven decision making and implementation of solutions
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be willing to work fully on-site at McKinley Hill, Taguig
