Job Summary:
As a Quant Analytics Associate in the Audience Management team, you will partner with marketers to gather requirements, propose designs for targeting and segmentation, and execute the delivery of final audiences. You will be responsible for developing code for data extraction and transformation, deploying audiences into production, and performing business analysis and database marketing functions for complex portfolio marketing campaigns using Base SAS programming and SQL querying. You will support domains including card, auto, home lending, retail, and wealth management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute code to define customer populations for complex marketing campaigns
  • Design functional specification documents for campaign execution
  • Communicate and clarify requirements, results, and timelines with marketers and project stakeholders
  • Assess information from multiple data sources, resolve inconsistencies, and transform high-level information into detailed technical specifications
  • Adhere to process requirements and checkpoints for campaign execution
  • Distinguish between requestors' wants and needs, challenge assumptions, and recommend alternative solutions
  • Develop code based on technical specifications to extract and process large volumes of customer and account data
  • Validate, audit, and test outputs to ensure programs meet original requests
  • Adhere to code development and documentation procedures, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate end-to-end process delivery with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support on ad hoc requests and special projects

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in developing Base SAS codes for data manipulation and report creation using procedures such as Proc Freq, Proc Format, Proc Sort, Proc SQL, and Proc Summary.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in related domains
  • Experience in requirement gathering and interacting with offshore partners
  • Experience in database querying (Teradata/Snowflake)
  • Background in marketing operations, direct marketing, or data analysis
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by previous work experiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Solid understanding of retail marketing programs
  • Familiarity or experience in operations, direct marketing, and data analysis in a banking or financial institution environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
