About the Role

As Strategic Marketing Manager for Consumer Retail, you will define and execute channel marketing strategies that accelerate sell-in and sell-through across retail and B2B partners. You’ll partner closely with vendor stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth, leverage Marketing Development Funds (MDF), and expand market share in the consumer electronics category. This role offers a visible platform to influence go-to-market planning, sharpen your analytical toolkit, and build leadership credibility.

What You'll Do

Retail Strategic Planning & GTM Development
Leads the development and execution of annual, A'la carte, and quarterly retail go-to-market strategies and tactics aligned to vendor priorities, budgets, consumer trends, and retailer requirements. Creates comprehensive plans supporting product launches, promotional windows, and retail initiatives.

Vendor Relationship & Business Management
Identifies and cultivates key vendor relationships with stakeholders to obtain Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and supports joint business planning. Manages MDF budgets strategically to maximize ROI and accelerate assortment, merchandising, and promotional performance.

Campaign & Activation Leadership
Plans, coordinates and executes Consumer marketing campaigns—including sell-in, sell-through, launch readiness, partner enablement, promotional activities, and omni-channel marketing—ensuring that all deliverables meet retailer and vendor brand standards. Coordinates and manages applicable events including retail activations, product launch moments, and partner engagements.

Data-Driven Insights & Analytics
Analyzes POS data, category trends, sell-through velocity, retail calendar impacts, and competitive activity to guide marketing decisions. Evaluates campaign results and adjusts strategy to respond to retail performance, category shifts, and market changes.

Marketing Operations, Messaging & Standardization
Develops, implements and maintains standardized consumer marketing sell kits, and collateral. Ensures consistent branding and messaging across all internal and external communications, product storytelling, and partner-facing content.

Budget Stewardship & Program Enablement
Manages MDF budgets and participates in the introduction of new programs, features, enablement kits, and turnkey assets that support retailer engagement and growth. Contracts and works with outside vendors as needed for development and delivery of retail marketing programs. May manage fee-based marketing programs focused on targeted markets or partner segments.
