Business unit Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (BU GPHE) is a global and world leading manufacturer of gasketed plate heat exchangers. The business and organization cover the complete value chain from Sales and Service, Research & Development, Product management, Marketing and Operations. It is close to € 1 billion in size with main footprints in Sweden, China, India and United States, and with a total workforce of above 1500 employees globally. 

About the role  

BU GPHE is looking for an experienced, strategic and global HR Business partner (HRBP) to be part of our growth and transformational journey to be the transition leader in heat transfer. Your leadership will be critical in achieving our goals and maintaining our position as an industry and market leader. In this role, you will be responsible, together with your HR management team, for driving the transformation journey by translating business goals to people's agenda. You will be contributing by increasing efficiency, up skilling and building our future leadership as our BU grows.  

Key responsibilities for this role entail: 

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic & trusted business partner to the management team. You are shaping and driving the business unit’s strategy, transformation, and commercial objectives as part of the leadership team, whilst translating the key business priorities into a highly relevant people plan and key initiatives. 

  • Organizational Development: Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership/team development to ensure future capabilities align with business goals. 

  • Leadership & Succession: Develop diverse leadership talent and build a robust succession pipeline to support the growth strategy. 

  • People Development: Identify critical competencies and facilitate targeted development solutions for the organization. 

  • Culture & Engagement: Promote company culture, enhance employee engagement, and drive a positive employee experience. 

  • Change Management: Act as a change agent, supporting transformational initiatives and continuous improvement. 

  • Manager Coaching: Advise and coach managers to optimize performance, talent management, and data-driven decision making. 

  • HR Collaboration: Leverage HR processes and the operating model to improve organizational performance in close partnership with business leaders and the HR community. 

You will be based in Lund and report to the President of Business Unit Gasket Plate Heat Exchangers. You will be part of the Energy Division HR Management team, reporting dotted line to the HR Vice President Energy Division.  

 

What you know  

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business management, Economics, Human Resources, or a related discipline, and bring extensive experience as a Strategic HR Business Partner within an international, industrial and matrix organization. You have successfully led comprehensive people´s agendas across diverse functions, including Operations, Sales, R&D and other areas—at an international scale. 

  

You have a strong track record of driving change and scalable transformation initiatives across regions, translating business strategy into actionable people's strategies that deliver measurable performance outcomes. Your approach integrates workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and leadership development to enable sustainable growth and operational excellence. You demonstrate high level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and foster alignment across regions and functions. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
