As a Strategic Analytics & Insights (SAI) Business Partner at NielsenIQ, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth by expanding our portfolio of analytics solutions to clients across Portugal. This role requires a proactive, client-focused professional who can identify opportunities, build strong relationships, and deliver impactful solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
You will :
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts, contribute to RFP responses and proposal development.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead client meetings, deliver compelling pitches, and present insights that showcase the value of our analytics solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations. Understand their needs, challenges, and business goals and recommend the most relevant solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of NielsenIQ’s SA&I offering and effectively position them against competitor solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company guidelines.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline progress, forecasting, and sales performance and manage an active sales pipeline, from prospecting to closing deals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Create cross and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
- Sell our solutions to new clients

Qualifications
- A range of 5 years and 10 years of experience in market research in FMCG, agency or client side working with shopper insights, data and analytics, category management, innovation, revenue growth management or as a key account manager. Ideally in a market research agency company
- It is key to have experience within research and to be knowledgeable about different research methods and how they can help answer different types of questions.
- An advantage to have a background within consumer and shopper research or within the branding, media or innovation area
- Ideally experience on the sales side, selling market research into manufacturers
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable client recommendations.
- Strong communicator, with min of 5 years of experience presenting results to and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and to navigate complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

What we offer
- 43000 to 46314 euros gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
