Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc is looking to hire a Strategic Account Manager who will oversee the Midwest territories. This position manages one or more major dealer accounts and an assigned region to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term business relationships. The role requires strategic sales leadership, strong account management, market analysis, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales objectives and support business growth.
This position supports the following channels within the assigned region:
• Nitto Tire direct distributors in the assigned region
• Nitto Tire Enthusiast Circuit associate dealers
• Independent tire dealers and auto dealers that support the Nitto brand
The Strategic Account Manager collects, analyzes, and presents timely market, dealer, and competitor intelligence to support sales strategies and executive decision-making. This role also evaluates dealer and competitor activity, marketing initiatives, business performance, and industry trends to develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned dealer accounts and regional channels to increase revenue, profitability, market share, and brand presence.
- Lead account and business planning activities, including forecasting, goal setting, call planning, itinerary development, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealer stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and support long-term account growth and customer engagement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospective dealers, market expansion opportunities, and enrollment in the Nitto Enthusiast Circuit associate dealer program.
- Develop expert knowledge of the Nitto product line, including product features, benefits, warranties, sizing, applications, and current sales programs.
- Promote and sell Nitto products and services by soliciting orders, supporting product positioning, communicating program terms, and assisting dealers with local sales and marketing efforts.
- Provide dealer support through product training, distribution of point-of-purchase materials and literature, review of purchasing records and inventory levels, and follow-up on credit-related matters.
- Attend dealer events, including open houses, trainings, and product releases, within the assigned territory or region.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate market, dealer, and competitor intelligence, including product activity, pricing, sales programs, marketing initiatives, business performance, and product issues.
- Prepare and present clear, data-informed recommendations and action plans based on market and competitive analysis, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and senior leadership to support execution.
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging market trends to identify risks, opportunities, and new product needs using profit-minded and cost-conscious judgment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and field updates in the company CRM system, including daily reporting.
- Establish and maintain a dependable network across markets within the assigned region and achieve targeted market penetration objectives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job and/or industry. The salary range listed is what we reasonably expect to compensate generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on the specific job description. We provide a competitive compensation package along with a robust benefits program to meet your needs.
The salary for this position is up to $103,000.
Skills Required
- Proven experience in strategic sales and account management
- Ability to develop and execute sales and account plans, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills with dealer partners
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting market, dealer, and competitor intelligence
- Proficiency using CRM to maintain accurate, timely sales activity and daily reporting
- Knowledge or ability to develop expert knowledge of the product line (product features, sizing, warranties, programs)
- Willingness and ability to travel and attend dealer events within assigned territory
