POSITION SUMMARY
Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark appropriately for placement in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. - Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures, such as First In-First Out (FIFO) and Cold Chain compliance, across all food-related departments or areas.
- Maintain the sanitation standards of the food storeroom and walk-ins.
- Identify and remove merchandise that is outdated, distressed, or unacceptable in appearance to ensure quality and freshness.
- Reduce workplace hazards in storeroom by following safe handling and storage policies and procedures.
- Eliminate cross contamination by processing and handling raw and ready-to-eat products separately.
- Check weights of all items as compared to order and billing.
- Handle spills, broken glass, and crushed/jagged metal or aluminum cans to ensure safety.
- Manage storage of inventory, issue stock to departments with requisitions, and maintain inventory records.
- Stock and organize storerooms.
- Processes daily inventory requisitions within Birch street (Hot Shop) and report any anomalies to the Cost Controller, Storeroom Supervisor, and Director of Finance.
- Ensure all food, beverage, and items are labeled with expiration dates and rotated; immediately notify the Cost Controller, Storeroom Supervisor, and Director of Finance when outdated items are identified.
- Perform inventory counts.
- Secure (lock and unlock) merchandise storage areas
- Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.

- Unload and sort cargo from shipping containers in a timely and efficient manner.
Forklift/Pallet Jack
- Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas.
Transportation
- Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness.
- Check tire pressure and fluid levels for property vehicle and refuel as necessary.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any vehicle maintenance needs.
- Park vehicles are in designated location when not in use.
- Transport goods to/from assigned destinations using property vehicle
