Stock Plan Administration Specialist

Ibotta is seeking a Stock Plan Administration Specialist to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a Stock Plan Administration Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our company's stock and equity programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance to optimize our equity compensation plans. You will collaborate closely with our finance and legal departments, and others in our HR department, to drive informed decision-making and support the overall equity program for our company.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

• Equity Compensation Management:

  • Administer and oversee equity compensation programs, including stock grant options

  • Manage employee equity programs including, long term incentive programs that may include RSUs, PSUs, Stock Options and ESPP programs

  • Manage and ensure accuracy of vendor tools, including details of equity grants, exercises, and vesting schedules.

  • Prepare and distribute equity-related communications to employees.

  • Maintain the company’s stock management platform

• Stock Analysis:

  • Keep appraised of stock market trends, company performance, and industry benchmarks.

  • Understand the impact of economic, financial, and regulatory changes on stock and equity markets.

  • Provide recommendations for optimizing the company's equity portfolio.

• Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to stock and equity management.

  • Prepare and file required reports, such as SEC filings and insider trading reports when applicable.

  • Coordinate with legal counsel to address any compliance issues or concerns.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with legal and accounting departments to develop and implement equity compensation policies and guidelines.

  • Partner with external financial institutions and brokers as needed.

• Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with the day to day processing of our benefits, including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, distributions, loans, hardships, compliance testing, and 401K auditing.

  • Serve as a day to day contact for employees, plan vendors, and third-party administrators for Ibotta’s benefits programs.

What we are looking for:

• 2-4 years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. MBA or CFA is a plus.

• Certification preferred

• Proven experience working with both private and publicly traded companies

• Experience administering and auditing 401K benefits is a plus

• Experience with Workday is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of stock market dynamics, equity compensation plans, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ethical and committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

• Experience with ancillary company benefit plans is a plus

Additional Details:

• This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.

• Base compensation range: $85,000-100,000. Equity is included in the overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
