Steward 

We are seeking dependable and hardworking team members of all experience levels to join our culinary team as Stewards. Whether you’re just getting started in hospitality or have previous kitchen experience, this is an opportunity to be an important part of our team and help keep our kitchens running smoothly. Stewards play an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment for our culinary teams and guests. 

 

Pay rate: $15-$16/hr 

 

We’re hiring for both full-time and part-time opportunities, with flexible scheduling options available. 

 

We are hiring Level 1 and Level 2 Stewards: 

 

Key Responsibilities   

Level 1 Steward: 

  • Keep dishes, glassware, silverware, and kitchen equipment clean, sanitized, and properly stored. 
  • Support the culinary team by maintaining clean and organized workstations, kitchen areas, and storage spaces. 
  • Remove waste and cardboard from the kitchen. 
  • Assist with cleaning equipment, utensils, and other kitchen areas throughout the shift. 
  • Help with proper food storage, labeling, and product rotation. 
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. 

Level 2 Steward: 

  • Perform detailed and heavy-duty cleaning of kitchen and Food & Beverage equipment and areas. 
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the kitchen and Food & Beverage areas. 
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment, floors, storage areas, and other back-of-house spaces.
  •  Remove waste and cardboard from the kitchen and transport to Dumpster/compactors. 
  • Work independently while supporting the culinary and Food & Beverage teams as needed. 
  • Follow established sanitation, safety, and cleaning procedures. 

 

What We’re Looking For   

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and collaborate effectively with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams.  
  • Reliable, dependable, and willing to take direction while completing tasks efficiently.  
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift, including handling dishes, equipment, and supplies.  
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.  
  • Ability to safely operate dishwashing equipment and cleaning tools after training.  
  • Willingness to follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.  
  • Level 1: No previous kitchen or stewarding experience required; training will be provided.  
  • Level 2: Previous stewarding, kitchen, custodial, or heavy-duty cleaning experience preferred.  
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
