INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence forces; conducts worldwide multidiscipline and all source intelligence operations; delivers advanced skills training, linguist support, specialized quick reaction capabilities, intelligence related logistics, and communications in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition command and the National Intelligence Community. You will be part of a team that provides comprehensive automation/information technology support to the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) worldwide intelligence dissemination mission.

The program works directly with government and military stakeholders to ensure intelligence professionals worldwide have the right access to the right data consistently through a variety of support services. The program mission is to support users within the program of record through multiple support services including operational management, information sharing, data brokering and governance, messaging support, and access management.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, Core hours: 0900-1500

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide data management support using government provided tools.
  • Engage Army Intelligence Enterprise to collect data requirements.
  • Facilitate initial engagement meetings and technical exchange meetings on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
  • Conduct research to identify appropriate data sourcing courses of action and collaborate with discipline SMEs.
  • Support the government in the development of plans, policy, and operations to execute Army-wide strategic governance, direction, policy, plans, oversight, and guidance to address Army (as an IC element) data and architecture.
  • Provide customer engagement and government support for data platforms identified by the government.
  • Facilitate onboarding of Army data consuming or providing systems with Army, DoD, and IC CDF solutions on operational domains.
  • Connect technical POCs for supported system to resolve network and firewall issues.
  • Execute and record tasks utilizing an agile framework and agile tools.

  • Open office work desk within a SCIF.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate initial engagement meetings and technical exchange meetings on data and information requirements and coordination tasks.
  • 4 years of demonstrated experience providing data integration support in the form of data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, and data discovery.
  • 4 years demonstrated experience leading a team and managing work tasks of subordinates conducting intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination.
  • Demonstrated ability to draft and maintain documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and ability to produce reports incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with Palantir software applications, JIRA, and Confluence highly desirable
  • Experience using SharePoint.

Security Clearance Required: Current TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI polygraph

Minimum Education: Associates degree

Minimum Years of Experience: Bachelor degree w/10 years experience in an intelligence discipline, Associates degree w/12 years experience in an intelligence discipline,
 

Required Certifications: Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 (formerly DoDD 8570.01-M) certification / IT Level II (CompTIA Security+) within 30 Calendar days of indoctrination at HQ INSCOM.

Preferred Qualifications: DAMA International Certified Data Management Professional Certification

Compensation Details:

$100,000 - $110,000

Skills Required

  • Associate degree with 12 years of experience in an intelligence discipline, or bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience in an intelligence discipline
  • Four years of experience providing data integration support, including data governance, data architecture, data warehousing, data quality management, metadata management, data operations management, or data discovery
  • Four years of experience leading teams and managing subordinate work tasks involving intelligence planning, collection, processing, analysis, or dissemination
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to facilitate initial engagement and technical exchange meetings concerning data and information requirements
  • Ability to draft and maintain standard operating procedures and produce reports conveying complex concepts with text and graphics
