The Opportunity: We are seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Stewards to support the culinary team by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen. The Kitchen Steward plays a critical behind-the-scenes role by ensuring that all kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, sanitized, and ready for use. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic who take pride in creating a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties and Functions

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish stations, storage areas, and kitchen floors
• Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen areas and dispose of them properly
• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, sinks, walls, and other surfaces according to health and safety standards
• Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when stock is low
• Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Support kitchen team with basic prep or setup tasks when needed
• Ensure all work areas are kept neat, organized, and hazard-free
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management immediately
• The job duties are all inclusive to all outlets, food stations and events

Qualification Standards

• Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Basic understanding of English preferred for communication and safety compliance
