Position Summary

The Steelwrist Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, dealer development, and customer engagement within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong relationships with equipment dealers, contractors, rental companies, and end users while promoting the Steelwrist product portfolio, including tiltrotators, quick couplers, work tools, and related attachment solutions.

The Territory Manager acts as the primary point of contact for regional sales activity and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, supporting dealer success, increasing market share, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with dealers, contractors, municipalities, and rental companies.

  • Promote the full Steelwrist product portfolio through demonstrations, presentations, and customer visits.

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the territory.

Dealer & Customer Support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective dealers.

  • Support dealer sales teams through product training, ride-alongs, and technical guidance.

  • Assist dealers with quoting, product selection, and application recommendations.

  • Coordinate and support product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events.

  • Ensure customers receive timely communication and high-quality service.

Territory Management
  • Manage assigned territory travel schedule efficiently to maximize customer engagement.

  • Maintain CRM records, sales activity reports, and opportunity tracking.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including support, marketing, production, and leadership teams.

  • Assist with inventory planning and forecasting based on regional demand.

  • Support territory growth initiatives and strategic company objectives.

Product & Technical Knowledge
  • Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of Steelwrist products and excavator attachment applications.

  • Provide product recommendations based on machine size, customer application, and jobsite requirements.

  • Assist customers and dealers with basic troubleshooting and coordination of service support when needed.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, technology advancements, and competitor offerings.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction equipment, attachments, heavy equipment sales, or related industry.

  • Strong understanding of excavators, attachments, and construction equipment applications.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer and dealer relationships.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Live within your assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with dealer distribution networks.

  • Knowledge of tiltrotator systems and hydraulic attachment technology.

  • Experience with CRM reporting.
