To strengthen our presence in the Oceania region, we are now looking for a Country Manager – Oceania — a driven, strategic, and hands-on leader with a strong passion for sales, customer success, construction technology, and excavator efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in developing Steelwrist’s business across Australia and New Zealand, driving market growth, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the continued adoption of innovative excavator attachment solutions.

This includes driving sales growth, strengthening relationships with customers, dealers, OEMs and key industry partners, while ensuring that Steelwrist delivers excellent service and support to the market.

You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and increasing awareness of the productivity benefits that Steelwrist solutions bring to excavator owners and operators.

This is a high-impact role combining strategic leadership, hands-on sales activity, business development, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with Steelwrist’s regional APAC organization as well as various functions at our headquarters in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Steelwrist’s commercial operations in Oceania, with ownership of sales, customer support, and local growth strategy.

  • Drive business development across Australia and New Zealand, identifying new opportunities with end users, dealers, rental companies, and OEMs.

  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

  • Represent Steelwrist at trade shows, customer events, dealer meetings, and industry forums.

  • Coordinate local sales, support, training, and customer activities to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with HQ and regional leadership, reporting directly to the Regional VP Sales APAC.

  • Support budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and other administrative tasks related to the regional business.

  • Over time, contribute to building a strong local organization capable of supporting Steelwrist’s continued growth in Oceania.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership, preferably within construction equipment, attachments, hydraulics, machinery, rental, or related industrial technology sectors.

  • Strong understanding of the construction equipment industry and the needs of excavator owners, operators, dealers, and OEMs.

  • Previous experience in a leadership, country management, or senior commercial role is a strong advantage.

  • A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and take full ownership of the market.

  • Strong industry network within Australia and/or New Zealand is highly valuable.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills — you enjoy meeting customers and creating trust in the market.

  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills, and entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Technical interest and ability to understand and communicate the value of innovative excavator attachment solutions.

  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within Oceania and occasionally internationally, including to Steelwrist headquarters in Sweden.

Your Personality

At Steelwrist, our core values — simplicity, responsiveness, and speed — define how we work and grow together. We are a results-driven company with a strong entrepreneurial culture, where every team member is expected to take initiative, act with ownership, and contribute to progress.

To succeed in this role, you should be hands-on, solution-oriented, commercially driven, and comfortable working in a growing organization. You are motivated by building something over time and enjoy combining strategic thinking with practical execution.

You are confident in front of customers, responsive to market needs, and able to translate customer challenges into business opportunities. A strong technical curiosity and genuine interest in improving excavator productivity will be important for creating value for customers and partners across the region.

Why Join Steelwrist?

We offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial role in a fast-growing, innovative global company. As Country Manager – Oceania, you will have a central role in shaping Steelwrist’s growth across Australia and New Zealand.

You will become part of an international team culture that values initiative, ownership, collaboration, and professional development — while representing a product range that makes a real difference in construction site productivity.

At Steelwrist, we work hard, move fast, support each other, and have fun while building something great together.
