Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Statutory Financial Reporting Controller to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing statutory financial reporting for our UK and Ireland operations, ensuring total compliance with local and group accounting standards while supporting critical audit and tax processes.You will join a global team dedicated to safeguarding and managing critical information while ensuring operational excellence worldwide. This role serves as a vital bridge between our local entities and group ledgers, providing transparency and confidence to our regulators and investors

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Statutory Reporting Process: Own the end-to-end preparation, reconciliation, and submission of yearly statutory books and disclosure reports, ensuring full alignment between US GAAP and UK GAAP

  • Manage External Stakeholder Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax providers, and regulatory bodies like Companies House to ensure seamless audits and compliant tax filings.

  • Maintain Rigorous Compliance Frameworks: Oversee the design and implementation of internal controls, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, to mitigate financial risk and uphold Iron Mountain’s global accounting policies.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive Financial Expertise: Proven experience in financial reporting with deep knowledge UK GAAP or US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Audit Coordination: Experience coordinating complex audits and working with tax advisors and regulatory authorities.
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong ability to resolve complex accounting issues and implement process improvements within a Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliant environment.
  • Professional Communication: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to provide clear guidance on accounting matters to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
