JOB SUMMARY
As a Statements Specialist, you are responsible for ordering and obtaining payout statements on both secured and unsecured products. You will review documents for compliance, order statements through multiple channels and follow up with multiple FI’s to obtain the statement in a timely manner. You have strong attention to detail, work and think quickly and can review a file critically to determine what needs to be done quickly. You are relied upon to provide expert advice when problem solving and you are a strong influencer when speaking to others in order to get the statement quickly and efficiently.
As a Statements Specialist
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Entering statement ordering data quickly and accurately
- Follow up with Other Financial Institutions for payout statements
- Review title searches and accompanying documents in order to determine proper course of action
- Liaise with internal stakeholders updating them consistently on the status of their request
- Review and action elevated issues, files and complaints
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 2-5 years experience in banking, real estate or mortgage funding
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships
- Excellent communication, organization and time management skills accompanied with ability to exercise good judgment in protecting confidential information
- Detail oriented and proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Team player who can work with minimal supervision
- Willingness and ability to work overtime during peak periods
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment in a wide range of situations and exhibit creative thinking and problem solving
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Our core hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. -9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible to work a regular rotating late shift to 9p.m.
