As a Stakeholder Manager at Fulton Hogan, you’ll be responsible for driving effective communication and engagement between our project teams and the communities, and businesses impacted by our work. You’ll develop and implement stakeholder communication and management strategies, proactively manage concerns and feedback, and ensure all voices are heard and respected throughout each project’s lifecycle. Your expertise will help minimise disruptions, foster positive relationships, safeguard our reputation, and ensure that every project reflects the values and standards that Fulton Hogan is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively minimise disruption to communities through strategic planning, open communication, and thorough project monitoring.
Develop, maintain, and continually improve stakeholder management plans, including resource consent requirements.
Coordinate consistent, timely messaging across social media, correspondence, and public-facing material.
Ensure all communications and signage meet Fulton Hogan’s branding guidelines.
Clearly communicate project impacts and deliver community-focused solutions.
Undertake and manage pre-and-post project surveys, monitor media, and maintain accurate stakeholder databases.
Respond to queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
Organise site tours, facilitate inductions, and coordinate logistics for visitors.

We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction/infrastructure projects with proven stakeholder engagement.
Relevant qualification in communication, marketing, engagement, or a compatible field.
Sound understanding of statutory/legal obligations, including the Privacy Act 2020.
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
Skilled communicator across both digital and traditional channels; exemplary written and verbal skills.
Experience with desktop publishing is beneficial.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Full driver’s licence is essential.
