Responsibilities:
• Leading direction within the team designing and building our new generation user interfaces and/or backend services related test automation solutions, in conjunction with designers from other teams and product lines, focusing on composability and quality architecture. Ability to deliver product epics, including design, coding, automated testing, documentation and deployment, providing state of the art solutions for complex requirements. Delivering commitments on time.
• Being a key contributor to the code review process and giving constructive feedback to apply good practices and anticipate issues, as well as to grow more junior engineers.
• Troubleshooting and find the root cause of production support issues post-deployment in across components related to the teams work and come up with solutions as required.
• Designing secure, reliable and highly scalable backend and frontend solutions for user stories and product epics, resisting poor or short-term solutions and backing up arguments with solid and logical data.
• Mentoring members in the team and other teams working closely with, to help them gain technical and domain knowledge, apply good practices.
• Taking part in the team level estimation and commitment process, making estimating with good accuracy at the story level. Leading decomposition of product epics into smaller chunks of work. Taking part in team retrospectives and giving suggestions on how to improve the way the team works.
• Leading collaboration and communication with other teams, organization units when needed. Being aware of dependencies and other needs of cooperation with other teams, seeking proper solutions.
• Showing leadership in continuously trying to improve and positively influence others working on the product. Setting and achieving meaningful goals that are beneficial to oneself and the company and have a great impact on components being worked on. Embracing and adopting to changes in organization and technical requirements.
• Presenting accomplished work on product demos, being able to deliver convincing presentation on designs and technical solutions.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/ Java based automation FWs, exposure to one or more web development frameworks (Angular preferred),
• Experience working with browser JS APIs (e.g. DOM, postmessage, localstorage, etc.)
• Working experience with REST API-s and/or other API technologies
• Experience with Ai in testing, regarding nondeterministic testing, AI skills and agents
• Version control tools and processes (e.g. Git and Gitflow)
• Continuous delivery of cloud-based software
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
