About the TeamThe Growth and Revenue Systems team is a cross-functional team in the Growth department comprising engineers, marketers, and revenue operations. We are responsible for maintaining and improving our sales and marketing tooling such as our CRM and our marketing automation platform. We also spearhead innovation in tooling using AI, such as developing in-house AI agents to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and marketing teams.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be leading technical strategy as the Senior Solution Architect. You will report to the Director of Growth and Revenue Systems and work closely with the Director of Growth Engineering to design our target architecture. Your focus will be on designing scalable systems while other teams handle the hands-on build and implementation phases.
Revenue Stack Architecture: Own the end-to-end technical design for our core revenue platforms, specifically Salesforce and Marketo. You will ensure these systems are architected to handle hyper-growth and complex product portfolios.
Data & AI Ecosystem Design: Design the architecture for our revamped Growth tech platform, defining how we utilize Hightouch and Databricks for intent signals, data enrichment, and campaign audience data modeling.
Integration Strategy: Architect the technical patterns for integrating in-house AI agents and third-party tools into our ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and system stability.
Technical Assessment: Lead the technical assessment, architecture validation, and Proof of Concept (POC) for new tech vendors, working closely with stakeholders in Data, Engineering, Commercial, and Marketing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely across engineering, commercial, product, and data analytics teams to ensure that technical designs translate into great customer outcomes.
Experience: At least 7 years’ experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or solution architecture roles.
Platform Expertise: Deep experience designing solutions within Salesforce and Marketo is highly preferred. Experience with other CRM/MAP platforms will be considered.
Data Proficiency: Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and SQL databases. Familiarity with modern data tools like Databricks and Reverse ETL (e.g., Hightouch) is advantageous.
Systems Thinking: A track record of providing architectural guidance across all phases of software development from initiation to deployment.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to deeply understand customer needs and navigate to successful solutions.
Outcome Focused: A bias towards outcomes and customer success, with relentless focus and creativity to achieve our objectives.
Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the payments domain / financial services will be advantageous.
