As a Staff Software Engineer at Wipro GE Healthcare Private Limited, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of innovative software solutions that power the future of healthcare technology. You will leverage your expertise across the full software development lifecycle to build robust, scalable, and reliable systems, playing a vital role in shaping our product offerings.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of Complex SDET / Test Automation Capabilities that ensures improved SW Quality for Emerging Platform / Modality Software , ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Drive API Development and integrate with various internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
* Aware of utilizing Cloud Technology, optimizing for cost, security, and performance.
* Apply advanced Computer Programming skills to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in various programming languages.
* Design, develop, and manage Databasing solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient access.
* Implement and champion DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, to streamline development and deployment processes.
* Explore and apply Edge Computing principles to optimize real-time data processing and decision-making for healthcare devices and applications.
* Contribute to Measuring SW Quality by Profiling the front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases.
* Design and implement Microservices Architecture to build modular, resilient, and independently deployable software components.
* Awareness/ understanding of Network Protocols and ensure secure and efficient communication between systems.
* Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create well-structured, reusable, and maintainable code.
* Provide technical leadership in Software Design Architecture, guiding the team in making sound architectural decisions.
* Participate in Software Project Management activities, including planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
* Champion System Reliability engineering practices to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
* Develop and implement comprehensive Test Automation strategies to ensure software quality and reduce regression issues.
* Design, develop, and consume Web Services Development to facilitate communication between diverse applications.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* 14+ years of progressive experience in software development with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
* Demonstrated expertise in API Development, including RESTful APIs and API design best practices.
* Extensive experience with Cloud Technology (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native application development.
* Exceptional Computer Programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Go.
* Proficiency in Databasing technologies, including relational (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
* Strong understanding and practical experience with DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
* Experience with Edge Computing concepts and implementations is a plus.
* Proven ability in Full Stack Development, with experience in both front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end technologies.
* In-depth knowledge of Microservices Architecture principles and best practices.
* Solid understanding of Network Protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/S).
* Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
* Demonstrated experience in Software Design Architecture, including designing scalable and resilient systems.
* Experience with Agile Software Project Management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
* Strong commitment to System Reliability and experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.
* Extensive experience with Test Automation frameworks and strategies (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, Cypress).
* Proficiency in Web Services Development, including SOAP and REST.
