We’re looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer - Hubs Platform to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. In this Senior Engineering role you will shape the experience of millions of users worldwide as you build the platforms and products that enable customized experiences to users of Procore. You’ll play a critical role in designing robust systems, building user interfaces, optimizing the runtime that powers Hub experiences, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create new user experiences. The UIs powered by the Hubs Platform are used by every Procore customer and represents Procore’s next phase in UI customization; it is an extremely high-visibility and high-impact role.

This position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager for the Hubs Platform and is located in our Bengaluru, India office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:Architect, develop, and maintain the runtime platform for Hubs using Procore’s technology stack (primarily React, NodeJS, Typescript, Ruby).
Design scalable UIs using microfrontend concepts to build world-class user experiences.
Improve templating systems enabling teams to build Hub experiences more efficiently
Write clean, efficient, well-tested and well-documented code following industry standard and Procore best practices.
Communicate complex problems and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders through conversations and design documents..
Collaborate across engineering teams on large-scale initiatives to further our goal of connecting everyone in construction on one global platform.
Develop team technical standards and operational processes.
Provide 24/7 support for production UIs and services to achieve 99.99% uptime.
Mentor junior developers for soft and technical skills development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
8+ years of experience in software engineering, test driven development and UI / API designs (Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, React, Typescript preferred)
5+ years of experience monitoring, tuning alerts and responding to production alerts
Recommends technical investments to improve stability, performance and scalability of production services
Support leadership in assessing short and long term goals to balance immediate and long term needs.
Builds modern Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems enabling deterministic releases
Creates an intuitive and scalable operational support strategy for new and more junior developers
Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
Fluent in spoken and written English
