NerdWallet is seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our talented Cards, Lending, and Wealth Team (CLAW). In this role, you will lead the development of personalized, data-driven products across the credit cards, lending, and wealth management verticals, helping consumers make smarter financial decisions. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, data, and marketing, you’ll have the opportunity to be a strategic leader across product development, business strategy, and customer experience.
Where you can make an impact:
- Own the product roadmap for emerging growth projects, leveraging data and partner integrations to deliver personalized credit card, lending, and wealth management solutions, aligning with the overall company vision.
- Define and drive the strategy to build competitive and innovative financial products that address customer pain points and needs.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, and identify opportunities for product growth.
- Gain a deep understanding of the financial profiles, goals, and challenges of our consumers to drive product innovation and personalized experiences.
- Own product integrations with third party partners such as credit bureaus and NerdWallet clients.
- Seamlessly execute on roadmaps for successful product launches and updates by partnering with data, engineering, marketing, and editorial teams to create and implement product roadmaps.
- Live in the numbers: monitor and analyze product performance metrics, implement A/B tests and other optimization strategies to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to ensure long-term success.
Your experience:

- 10+ years of experience in product management, preferably within fintech, consumer finance, or related industries.
- A proven track record of successfully leading the product development process from concept to launch and experience scaling digital products.
- Experience working with clients or partners to understand technical requirements for integrations and third party API implementations.
- Expertise in consumer credit, wealth management, and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and experience working with A/B testing, SEO, and performance optimization.
- The ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels, translating consumer needs into actionable product strategies.

Base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on several factors, including but not limited to education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
