Staff Mobile Engineer (Credit)

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead medium to large technical projects, driving strategic direction and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions. Act as a technical leader within the team, championing best practices in coding, system design, and engineering processes. Ensure the implementation of market standards in every project. Leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Mentorship: Guide less experienced engineers, fostering their technical development and alignment with best practices.
• Complex Coding and Architecture: Engage in critical coding tasks and make significant architectural decisions that shape the long-term direction of mobile applications.
• Code Reviews: Conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and contributing to continuous improvement in engineering methodologies.
• Native Mobile Development: Lead the development and maintenance of native mobile applications for Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Objective-C/Swift).
• SDK Integrations: Oversee third-party SDK integrations at a native level, exposing methods to the React Native layer.
• Security Expertise: Implement advanced security measures, including SSL pinning, integrity checks, secure storage, code obfuscation, and anti-hooking.
• React Native Architecture: Evaluate and implement versions of React Native architecture, ensuring efficient integration with native components.
• Feature Implementation: Spearhead the implementation of critical features such as Push Notifications, Deeplinks, Middlewares, and navigation libraries.
• Testing and Best Practices: Promote the use of TDD, BDD, BFF, and state management libraries like Redux, ensuring robust and reliable code.
• CI/CD and Deployment: Lead CI/CD processes, manage publishing, and ensure reliable deployment through tools like CodePush.
• Version Control: Take ownership of version control using GitHub, including conflict resolution and automation of continuous integration processes.
• Monitoring and Debugging: Oversee application monitoring and debugging using tools like Crashlytics, Firebase, New Relic, and Google Analytics.

• Native Mobile Development: Proven experience in developing and maintaining native mobile applications for both Android and iOS.
• React Native Expertise: Extensive experience with React Native and integrating native modules.
• Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mobile security, including SSL pinning, integrity checks, secure storage, code obfuscation, and anti-hooking.
• SDK Integration: Strong experience with third-party SDK integrations exposed to the React Native layer.
• Architecture: Expertise in React Native architecture and implementation of critical features.
• Testing and State Management: Advanced knowledge in TDD, BDD, BFF, and state management with Redux.
• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools and the application publishing process, including CodePush.
• Version Control: Advanced knowledge in version control (GitHub) and continuous integration automation.
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency with monitoring and debugging tools such as Crashlytics, Firebase, New Relic, and Google Analytics.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
