Position Details:
As part of the Clinical Administration team, you will report to Senior Staff Associate. You will play a critical role in supporting clinicians, patients, and families throughout the treatment process by providing administrative functions. Your contributions will help create a seamless experience for patients and their families while supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality psychopharmacological care. This is an non-exempt, full-time, fully on-site position located in the San Francisco Bay Area (San Mateo). The in-office requirement and schedule are subject to change based on the needs of the program and the organization.
You Will:
Provide a high-quality patient experience for families receiving care at Child Mind Institute.
Manage clinicians' calendars ensuring efficiency of clinical time and schedule appointments in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
Facilitate the flow of phone and email communication between clinicians and patients.
Collect initial patient information, perform intakes and coordinate services.
Check in patient appointments and process daily billing through the EMR system.
Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
Follow HIPAA guidelines and strictly protect personal health information.
Manage prescription requests through the prescription inbox working closely with pharmacies and insurance companies to ensure accuracy.
Handle prior authorizations and appeals for medication requests.
Provide psychopharmacology support coverage for additional team members as needed.
You Have:
2+ or more years of administrative or office experience required.
High school diploma or GED required.

Pay Range
The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
