Swish Analytics is looking for an Accounting Manager to support the Finance and Accounting team of four. This is a new position and will be reporting directly to the Director of Accounting.
This role has two direct reports and will potentially manage 3 or 4 by the end of fiscal year 2025. A minimum of three years of management experience is required. This role entails managing accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), prepayments, both US and international payroll, and supporting international audits among other duties.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meticulous with proven experience interpreting complex agreements for revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP.
- Strong accounting knowledge who can own a project from conceptualizing or evaluating options to final implementation.
- Highly organized who knows how to prioritize and manage the ever-changing demands of a young company.
- Experience with accounting policy and memorandum creation, including process improvement.
- Experienced in managing high volume accounts receivable.
- Experienced in managing the General Ledger.
- Comprehensive knowledge of handling foreign currency and intercompany transactions.
- Financial statement preparation of multiple entities, including flux analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Corporate accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborative with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in interpersonal communication.
- Prior experience forecasting cash.
Preferred:
- CPA or similar certification
- Experienced managing the equity section of the Balance Sheet
- Business consolidation or acquisition
- Prior NetSuite experience
Location: WFH anywhere within the United States, though shared time zone with West Coast would be preferred.
Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 (multiple levels)
