Staff Accountant
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Staff Accountant. In this role, you will perform financial information processing, reporting and analysis of the company by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with other accounting staff.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
This is an hourly wage role
Key Responsibilities
- Support finance team members in management of Accounting Office functions
- Reconcile problems by researching discrepancies and making appropriate corrections.
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Payroll
- Assist with preparation of monthly state and local Sales and Use Tax returns.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller.
What We’re Looking For
- A two-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
- Three to five years of employment in a related position (Finance/Accounting) with this company or other organization(s). Hospitality accounting is preferred.
- A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
- Requires knowledge of the accounting, finance, and hospitality profession.
