Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Key contributor to month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements and internal reports
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Two plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Strong technical proficiency in ERP systems (Infor XA, or similar preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
