Staff Accountant - Newtown Square, PA

SupplyOne is seeking a diligent, detail oriented, and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Strategic Account Services team. This role is responsible for recording and reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable on a daily basis, and supporting month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and works effectively in a team environment to support the overall financial management of the Strategic Accounts entity. Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Record all vendor invoices and initiate payments in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accounts Receivable: Post customer payments and develop a strong understanding of the company’s shared bank accounts to efficiently monitor the overall AR position of the Strategic Accounts entity.
• Reconciliations: Perform key monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Month-End Close: Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and intercompany activity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word
• Abilities: Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
