The Role
We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to serve as the primary Front-End Web Developer for prosper.com's WordPress instance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining all aspects of our customer-facing website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Problems You Will Solve
- Serve as the primary Front-End Web Developer for prosper.com's WordPress instance
- Build and maintain all aspects of the customer-facing website, including: Webpages, Navigation, Plugins, Themes , Template library, and API calls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improve existing ones
- Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner
- Optimize website for maximum speed and scalability
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in front-end web development
- Expert-level proficiency in WordPress development
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with PHP and MySQL
- Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first principles
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
