We are seeking an experienced ThoughtSpot Developer / Staff ThoughtSpot Engineer to drive the development, administration, and optimization of enterprise analytics solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable reporting environments, managing ThoughtSpot platforms, optimizing data models, and enabling self-service analytics for business users. You will collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver high-performance dashboards and insights while ensuring governance, reliability, and platform scalability.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ThoughtSpot dashboards, Liveboards, worksheets, and reporting solutions.
- Gather reporting and analytics requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Develop and optimize data models, schemas, and analytical datasets for performance and usability.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
- Manage and administer the ThoughtSpot platform, including user access, security, configurations, and platform monitoring.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to dashboards, queries, and platform operations.
- Implement data governance standards, role-based access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Support platform upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data quality, model performance, and analytics capabilities.
- Utilize ThoughtSpot Modeling Language (TML) and platform tools to support development and deployment processes.
- Create technical documentation, knowledge repositories, and platform best practices.
- Provide production support and resolve user-reported issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct user training sessions and help drive adoption of analytics solutions across the organization.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience working with ThoughtSpot development, administration, and analytics solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL with experience building and optimizing analytical queries.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and large-scale data warehouse environments.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, business intelligence, and reporting architectures.
- Experience managing user access, governance, security, and compliance requirements within analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Knowledge of platform integrations, APIs, and automation techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
