Job Description

The Solution Marketing team is responsible for driving Global EE solution GTM support and creating regional EE solutions. He starts with market size TAM/SAM/SOM analysis and considers ROI of solutions by working with SAL and TAA to create MRD & SRD. The solution is better by maximizing PPB (Parts per Board) by crossing EP&C, AMS, Power, and HPC products and creating eBOM for solutions. And co-work with System Solution Team or external partners for solution build up. And cooperate with Channel marketer for NSI launch and GTM plan.

In the Korea region, the Solution Marketing Manager acts as the key regional lead for solution strategy, solution definition, solution enablement, and field execution, ensuring alignment with SAL and UX management expectations with no surprises.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Market & Opportunity Analysis

  • Analyze regional market trends, customer pain points, and SAM/CAGR/LTV projections aligned with SAL 5‑year plans.
  • Conduct competitive analysis for target BOMs, PPB, and competing solutions.
  • Work with PG, BI, TAA, SAL, and distributor teams to gather insights and define solution gaps and opportunities.
  • Identify high‑value use cases in industrial, building automation, energy, HVAC, security, and related segments.

2. Solution Planning & Proposal (Stage I–II)

  • Lead regional proposal creation: solution block diagrams, architecture, specs, unique selling points (USP), MRD/SRD preparation, and PPB alignment.
  • Collaborate with SST/IDH on feasibility, cost, timeline, and NSI (Non‑standard Items) requirements.
  • Drive cross‑functional reviews with PG, SAL, BI, and TAA.

3. Solution Development & Go/No-Go (Stage III–V)

  • Coordinate with UX/SAL top management for regional go/no‑go decisions.
  • Support solution development by SST/IDH including design validation, resource assignment, and timeline tracking.
  • Align solution deliverables with SAL GTM requirements.
  • Own NSI definition, support package (L1–L3), and launch readiness.

4. GTM Strategy & Execution

  • Build and execute regional GTM plans for Solutions and NPIs.
  • Develop solution messaging, value propositions, application examples, and positioning aligned with global Solution Marketing.
  • Partner with channel marketing to support mass‑market GTM and distributor readiness programs (webinars, trainings, MARCOM, caravans, MIM, incentives).

5. Customer, Distributor & Partner Engagement

  • Present solutions at distributor offices and customer workshops.
  • Support technical engagement with ecosystem partners (IDH, ISV, module vendors, OEMs).
  • Work closely with sales teams to generate early opportunities and influence design-ins.

6. Collaterals, Training & Evangelism

  • Create solution Go-Bags, block diagrams, web content, and sales kits.
  • Provide internal & external training on solution features, competitive advantages, and applications.
  • Promote solutions as the regional Subject Matter Expert (SME).

7. KPI Tracking & Market Feedback

  • Measure solution impact, funnel progress, and DI (direct/indirect impact) using CRM and BI dashboards.
  • Collect customer feedback, competitor intelligence, and PG insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, marketing or technical sales
  • Strong understanding of Robotics, Industrial Automation, Building Automation, Energy or broader embedded markets.
  • Proven ability to follow up on leads and develop relationships in the field.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

 

Additional Notes

  • Role expected to align all SAM, Solutions, G2M with SAL and UX leadership—no surprises in execution.
  • Hybrid collaboration model with matrix reporting across PG, UX, and regional SAL.
  • Travel to customers, distributors, and regional events as needed.
