What You'll Be Doing
- Responsible for the receipt, review and approval of Commercial loan documentation that will include Commercial Real Estate documentation relative to conformity with the approved loan presentation.
- Ensure all loan documents have been received, or otherwise waived prior to the loan booking process.
- The Commercial Loan Coordinator will also make sure that the proposed transaction is in compliance with Credit Policy.
- The Commercial Loan Coordinator will track outside loan exceptions and will ensure that all necessary documents are properly recorded and delivered to the Bank in a timely manner.
- The loan portfolio will consist of large and mid-sized Commercial loan transactions and Real Estate loan transactions, a large percentage of which will include Syndicated Credits.
- This position supports the Commercial Lending Line of Business and is part of the centralized Loan Operations Closing Team, reporting to the Loan Closing Team Lead.
- Bachelor Degree is preferred and the individual must have Loan Closing experience (or similar) in a Bank or Financial Institution environment.
- The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal).
- The individual must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- The individual will need strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $85,000 - $95,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
