In this role, you will be part of a high-energy, diverse, and forward-thinking team that is shaping the future of mobile payments.As a Solution Architect, you will lead the end-to-end design and deployment of the Ericsson Wallet Platform and related integrations. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring seamless multi-vendor integration and exceptional performance in high-volume transaction environments. This role demands deep technical expertise, a strong grasp of fintech ecosystems, and outstanding customer engagement skills.
What You Will Do
- Own the architecture, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD) for mobile wallet deployments and integrations.
- Ensure successful implementation and delivery of EWP and associated nodes, as per agreed scope.
- Engage daily with customers to capture evolving requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Integrate the EWP with multiple third-party systems (USSD, SMSC, Service Delivery Platform, Banks, etc.).
- Design and document solutions in complex, multi-vendor system landscapes.
- Write and execute acceptance tests, securing customer sign-off.
- Provide architectural leadership in technology strategy discussions with clients.
- Contribute to business case modeling and proposal preparation.
- Mentor teams and cultivate expertise in new technology areas.
- Propose innovative enhancements to expand Ericsson's MFS services and market reach.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Master's or equivalent experience preferred).
- 10-15 years' experience in fintech solution architecture, with proven delivery of complex deployments.
- Hands-on expertise in HLD, LLD, and design documentation.
- Proven experience deploying solutions in public cloud environments.
- Strong skills in Kubernetes, Docker, UNIX/Linux, clustering, Oracle, MySQL, XML APIs, IP networking, and client-server architectures.
- Mobile Financial Services (MFS) and digital wallet architecture
- Mobile money ecosystems
- Payment transaction flows (P2P, merchant payments, airtime top-ups, cash-in/cash-out, bill payments)
- Experience with Ericsson monetization solutions (charging, billing) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM, digital front-end, omni-channel platforms, and enterprise architecture.
- Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and influence technology decisions.
- Awareness of fintech trends and ability to translate them into new business opportunities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- High accountability, autonomy, and ability to lead in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Understanding of commercial models, contract management, and sales processes.
