We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Workflows team.
You'll build the platform that powers workflow automation across our product—from employee onboarding and access requests to incident response, approvals, and infrastructure operations. Working closely with Product and Design, you'll help create a flexible workflow engine that enables customers to automate complex business processes while integrating AI where it adds meaningful value.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on backend engineering role with significant ownership and technical influence.
Design and build scalable backend services that power workflow execution and orchestration.
Develop reusable workflow components and APIs used across the platform.
Build reliable, event-driven systems that coordinate long-running business processes.
Partner with Product and Design to deliver intuitive workflow experiences.
Help define engineering best practices around scalability, reliability, and observability.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong backend development skills in Go, Python, Java, or a similar language.
Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
Strong understanding of asynchronous processing and event-driven architectures.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
Experience with technologies such as:
Workflow orchestration platforms (Temporal, Cadence, Camunda, Argo, Airflow, Dagster, or similar)
Kubernetes and AWS
PostgreSQL, Kafka, or Redis
AI/LLM applications or agentic systems
Enterprise automation or integration platforms
You'll join a small, experienced engineering team building one of the core pillars of our product. You'll have meaningful ownership, work on technically challenging problems, and help shape how enterprises automate work in an AI-first world.
