About the Role

Our mission at Rula, is to make mental healthcare work for everyone: patients, therapists, and insurance providers. As the Provider Experience team, we own the core therapist experience, and we build services and experiences to enable our therapists to easily deliver high quality care. Our projects range from building intuitive user experiences to increase the productivity of our therapists during their day-to-day tasks, to security and compliance focused extensible backend services that host our clinical data, and data-intensive ML integrations to elevate the quality of our care.

We are looking for a frontend oriented fullstack engineer who can lead our team to implement extensible React patterns, and raise the quality bar in our frontend systems. As an engineer on the Provider Experience team, you will join 8 other passionate, mission-oriented engineers who strive everyday to make life easier for our therapists. If you enjoy working with high ownership in a collaborative environment, pursuing technical excellence, and making solution-oriented decisions, Provider Experience team is the right team for you.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience

  • Previous production experience with React and typescript

  • Experience working on cross-functional teams

  • Frontend-focused fullstack experience building modern web applications

  • Experience working on time-sensitive projects, balancing multiple stakeholder’s needs

  • Experience driving all phases of the development lifecycle: planning, specing, execution, and measuring success

  • Start-up or Growth-stage experience

  • Complex problem solving, grit, and willingness engage with high complexity

  • Collaborative working style, solution oriented problem solving
