Common Accountabilities:

Sr. Sales Manager for Southern Europe- As the lead salesperson for this territory the sales manager is responsible for driving media and BI opportunities, meeting the revenue targets and growth goals for the area. They will be the primary relationship holder with Destination (DMO) clients from country to city level. Representing Amadeus Destinations at industry events, Conferences, and client meetings the sales manager is expected to take ownership of their territory from new business prospecting through renewal and client growth. Working directly with sales leadership, they will help drive strategy, account planning and market knowledge.

It is critical for this role to have advertising- predominantly digital media experience. Our clients are marketing professionals from consumer and trade media as well as data and research teams. The combination of travel and digital media experience is preferred.

Specific accountabilities:

  • Drive sales across 3 core products- Consumer Digital Media B2C, Travel Seller Media B2B, BI and Data Products.
  • Manage relationships, pipeline, and revenue attainment from existing clients as well as new business development
  • Participate in the preparation of the long term plan (sales forecast and solutions based on customer feedback) and definition of the sales plan.
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities by establishing and developing relationships with top-level executives.
  • Coordinate and participate in RFP/RFI responses and follow-up.
  • Perform Market and competitor analysis

About the ideal candidate:

  • Has a solid understanding of the Programmatic/AdTech Media industry

  • Previous experience working with Destinations/Tourism Boards/Airlines (marketing) and media agencies would be highly regarded

  • Commercially driven, with a history of reaching and overachieving sales quotas

  • Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Spanish and English, other languages including Italian and Greek highly regarded
