As an employee of the Boston Fed, you will work to promote sound growth and financial stability in New England and the nation. You will contribute to communities, the region, and the nation by conducting economic research, participating in monetary policy-making, supervising certain financial institutions, providing financial services and payments, playing a leadership role in the payments industry, and supporting economic well-being in communities through a variety of efforts.
This position is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the Quality Assurance Unit for multiple applications both existing and new. We are moving several applications to the cloud so AWS, Azure or GCP experience is required.
Required experience:
Automation Testing, API testing, Java, Cloud (AWS preferred)
A bachelor’s degree in technology and a minimum of 5-7 years of job-related experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze manual test scenarios and identify viable candidates for automation.
Develop, maintain, support, and execute automated tests.
Analyze automated test results to identify defects in the application(s) test.
Develop innovative technical solutions to assist with manual testing.
Support other team members in the installation, configuration, and ongoing use of automated testing tools.
Create and maintain documentation regarding automated testing solutions and their technical configurations.
Assist with the implementation and support of multiple applications from both the user and technical perspective.
Assist with the coordination of cross-functional and cross platform test strategies.
Assist in formal and informal reviews throughout the development life cycle.
Develop and communicate technical policies, procedures, and strategies, and clearly articulate complex situations to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Function as a liaison between the Quality Assurance and Development Units to assist programmers with the development of software to ensure that design specifications are satisfied from a user perspective.
