This position is responsible for providing technical and analytical support to the Quality Assurance Unit for multiple applications both existing and new.
• Analyze manual test scenarios and identify viable candidates for automation.
• Develop, maintain, support, and execute automated tests.
• Analyze automated test resultsto identify defects in the application(s) test.
• Develop innovative technical solutions to assist with manual testing.
• Support other team members in the installation, configuration, and ongoing use of automated testing tools.
• Create and maintain documentation regarding automated testing solutions and their technical configurations.
• Assist with the implementation and support of multiple applications from both the user and technical perspective.
• Assist with the coordination of cross-functional and cross platform test strategies.
• Assist in formal and informal reviews throughout the development life cycle.
• Develop and communicate technical policies, procedures, and strategies, and clearly articulate complex situations to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Function as a liaison between the Quality Assurance and Development Units to assist programmers with the development of software to ensure that design specifications are satisfied from a user perspective.
• Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion of a bachelor's degree in technology and a minimum of 5-7 years of job-related experience.
