Sr. Program Manager, Operations
Articulate is looking for a seasoned Senior Program Manager to play a pivotal role in our Strategic Initiatives, Operations organization. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Strategic Initiatives, this role is designed for a dynamic individual who excels in overseeing complex cross-functional programs, projects, and initiatives that drive our goals and objectives both within the Operations organization and across teams.
As we drive org-wide initiatives to meet our go-to-market goals, the need for cross-functional oversight across operations, product, and marketing is key. The core of this position revolves around managing prioritization, collaboration, and execution of go-to-market initiatives, ensuring cross-functional alignment, strategic planning, accountability, risk mitigation, and dependency identification for successful delivery. The right candidate will possess strong program/project management skills with a drive for results rigor and can effectively and proactively communicate cross-functionally with key members of the team.
What you'll do:
- Provide cross-functional leadership and manage large-scale programs or multiple complex projects for high-priority strategic initiatives for go-to-market plans, including identifying key contributors, gathering requirements, defining milestones, developing roadmap, and deliverables, planning capacity, scheduling, and reporting status.
- Connect current teams' initiatives to overarching strategic business objectives, inspect progress, and optimize plans based on continuous learning.
- Drive engineering, product, go-to-market, and operations teams in shipping new products, features, systems, and processes as part of org-wide initiatives.
- Promote cross-functional communication and process to align with GTM and Product Operations teams.
- Actively build consensus across stakeholders to enable coordinated forward progress.
- Foster strong relationships and utilize outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills to align stakeholders across the organization, convey plans, and present results to senior leadership.
- Unblock issues, provide a systematic means to track execution and assist the Strategic Initiatives team with large, complex programs and goals.
- Lead planning and resource onboarding for new projects, ensuring streamlined initiation processes and efficient execution.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospection, learning, and optimization for lean execution.
- Contribute to establishing and maturing the Strategic Initiatives function within the Operations team, shaping processes for improved program/project management practices for org-wide adoption.
What you should have:
- 10+ years of experience in program, project, and process management within marketing operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or related fields in the B2B SaaS sector driven by product-led growth strategies.
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies, sales/order-to-cash processes processes, customer lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in proactive risk assessment and mitigation strategies across project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated passion for leading and energizing cross-functional teams.
- Expert in project management tools like Notion, Jira, Smartsheets, Asana, or equivalents with desired experience integrating into Slack.
- Experience managing budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
