About the Role

This role is responsible for driving marketing performance by owning the execution and optimization of automated campaigns across email, lifecycle, and lead nurture programs. You'll play a key role in helping the marketing team scale by improving how we build, test, and refine automation workflows that support acquisition and engagement goals. This is an opportunity to bring both technical expertise and creative judgment to campaigns that directly impact business outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Build, launch, and maintain automated marketing campaigns across email and lifecycle channels, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
  • Manage audience segmentation and targeting logic to improve relevance and engagement across campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and translate data into clear recommendations for optimization
  • Use AI tools to accelerate content development, audience analysis, and campaign testing, while applying editorial judgment to ensure quality and brand fit
  • Partner with content, design, and compliance teams to ensure campaigns meet brand standards and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within marketing automation platforms, escalating complex technical issues when needed
  • Document and maintain workflows and campaign processes to support consistency and repeatability across the team
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation processes and bring ideas forward for how the team can work more efficiently

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or a related marketing field; bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You've been using AI tools in your daily life long enough to have real opinions about them — what they're good at, where they fall short, and when to trust the output — and you're ready to apply that intuition to real marketing problems
  • You use AI to accelerate content development, audience analysis, and campaign optimization, while being discerning about where editorial judgment still belongs to a human
  • You've thought through the brand and compliance implications of AI-generated content and are building workflows your team can trust and repeat
  • You take ownership of your campaigns and proactively look for ways to improve performance and process
  • You use sound judgment when applying new tools or approaches to ensure accuracy and quality
  • You collaborate effectively across teams and adapt your approach based on feedback and data
  • You're detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once
Nice to Have
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and campaign performance analytics
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as financial services
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting
