The posted range for this position is $135,000 - $175,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.

What You Will Do
- Lead and grow multiple engineering teams delivering mission-critical software to dental practices and their patients
- Directly oversee team leaders and influence engineering practices, technical execution, and outcomes across the organization
- Drive clarity, accountability, and alignment through effective communication of goals, priorities, and status to team members and stakeholders
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development to attract and retain top talent
- Establish and enforce standards for software engineering, analysis, QA, and project delivery
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product and UX to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with strategic initiatives
- Monitor and manage project scope, forecasts, risks, and budgets
- Promote mature DevOps practices, continuous integration/deployment, and test-driven development
- Languages & Frameworks: C, C#, C++, .Net 4.7
- Frontend: WinForms, WPF, WinUI
- Database: MS SQL Server
- DevOps & Tools: GitLab and Jira
- Client Server Architecture
- Experience with REST APIs, Java and AWS a plus
What You Will Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive software development experience with our tech stack, with 3+ years in people management
- Proven success leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams at scale
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Ability to lead through influence, resolve conflict, and build consensus across functions
- Clear, empathetic communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
- Analytical, strategic thinker who can balance tech debt, innovation, and delivery
- Passionate about people development and organizational growth
- Adaptable and excited by change in a fast-moving environment
- Committed to high standards of quality and integrity
