Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the overall sales activities within the organization. This role involves leading a team of sales professionals, developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Sales Supervisor conducts regular sales meetings, reviews sales data, and collaborates with other departments to address customer needs and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing sales documentation, providing training and development opportunities for staff, and reporting on sales performance to senior management.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
Maintain & grow market connect with MEP consultants, Original Equipment Manufacturers, Industrial end-clients and contractors
• Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with marketing team to create effective sales campaigns
• Monitor competition and make recommendations to stay competitive
• Create and maintain sales reports for management review
Customer Service
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Train team on effective customer service techniques
• Monitor customer feedback and make improvements as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients
Inventory Management
• Provide periodic forecast to planning department to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Analyze sales data to determine inventory needs and make recommendations
Budget Management
• Develop and manage sales budget
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability
• Make budget recommendations to senior management
• Track and report on sales performance against budget
• Identify areas for cost savings and implement strategies to achieve them.
Team Management:
• Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.
• Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.
• Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
Adaptability:
• Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial.
• Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent professional educational experience in a related field with at least 12 years or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Proven sales track record and experience in handling Industrial products.
Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., Salesforce, CRM systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans.
• Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
