Databricks is seeking an operational leader to serve as Senior Manager, Order to Revenue Process Compliance. As Databricks continues to scale, protecting our usage-based revenue engine requires dedicated oversight at the intersection of product metering, billing systems, and strategic partner relationships. In this role, you will lead the core execution of usage remediation, partner reporting workstreams, and root cause analysis—bridging the gap between raw product metering data and financial ground truth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Remediation & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Execute the categorization and resolution of various SLA and usage issues impacting customers and financial accuracy, lead mandatory cross-functional RCAs with Engineering to address finance-impacting issues, ensuring policy and execution align to compliance guardrails at scale.  
  • Metrics, Reporting & Financial Reserves: Maintain necessary metrics, reporting, and data assets to inform leadership decision-making, influence project prioritization to resolve recurring issues, and inform financial reserves or adjustments to revenue recognition processes.
  • Partnership Governance & Outbound Reporting: Catalog and maintain a deep understanding of key partnership terms, create and preserve standard operating procedures (SOPs), oversee the execution of outbound reporting workstreams by staff, and sign off to own operational outcome results.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering and business stakeholders to turn usage insights into operational improvements and ensure compliance with partnership arrangements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related technical field.
  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, with extensive expertise in business partnering, influencing cross-functional stakeholders, and consumption-based revenue recognition/accounting.
  • Technical Acumen: Experience writing SQL and past experience using Databricks strongly preferred.
  • Operational Expertise: Proven capability in managing operational workflows, establishing SOPs, and running root-cause analyses within complex systems.
