The Senior Manager, Intranet & Communications Tools is accountable for the strategy, governance, and evolution of the company’s intranet and related employee-facing communication platforms. Sitting within the Communications team, this role ensures the intranet serves as the primary digital front door for employees—delivering clear, timely, and engaging content that supports culture, alignment, and productivity. This role partners closely with Communications leadership, HR, and business stakeholders to deliver clear, timely, and compelling messaging aligned to company priorities, culture, and employee experience.

Supporting enterprise initiatives and day-to-day communications, the Senior Manager ensures best use of channels, technology remains updated, innovative, and tracks key performance indicators. This role requires strong platform understanding, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on driving employee understanding, alignment, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Intranet Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the roadmap, and day-to-day leadership of the enterprise intranet as a core communications channel.
  • Drive continuous improvement based on employee needs, analytics, and feedback.
  • Work cross functionally to evolve tech and ways of working strategies that engage Store Employees as Tech changes.

Content & Editorial Leadership

  • Define intranet content strategy, editorial standards, and governance models.
  • Partner with Communications, IT, HR, and business leaders to ensure high-quality, relevant, and timely content.
  • Ensure content is engaging, inclusive, accessible, and aligned with the company’s voice and brand.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Partner with HR, IT, leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to support communication needs and key initiatives.
  • Advise stakeholders on best practices for internal communications, messaging, and channel strategy.
  • Build strong relationships to effectively manage input, feedback, and alignment. Manage community of content and document owners.
  • Oversee the creation, management, and awareness of a centralized repository of technology enablement resources (how-to guides, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot system and data inconsistencies to ensure accuracy of metrics and functionality.

Channel Management & Optimization

  • Support management of internal communication channels, including intranet and email distribution.
  • Ensure content is published accurately and in a timely manner across platforms.
  • Use analytics and feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness and reach.

Project Management & Operations

  • Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs and approvals to ensure efficient execution.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and quality control across all deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in internal communications, digital communications, or employee experience.
  • 5+ years in a role managing enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Deep experience owning an enterprise intranet or internal communications platform.
  • Strong content strategy and channel management.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level communication initiatives or large-scale organizational changes.
  • Familiarity with digital communication platforms (e.g., intranet, content management systems, or M365 tools such as SharePoint).
  • Background in employee experience, culture communications, or change management.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-brand organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
