You will shape the platform’s end-to-end experience model, define reusable workflow and interaction patterns, and ensure coherence across all user touchpoints. You will partner closely with our Principal UX Researcher in the U.S. and with engineering and product delivery teams across Costa Rica and India, guiding a distributed UX team to deliver intuitive, scalable, and consistent experiences across the platform.
This role is strategic and hands-on: you will lead experience architecture and also mentor designers, define standards, and review detailed design outputs. You will be a critical voice in aligning Product, Engineering, and Architecture toward a unified platform experience.

Responsibilities
Experience Strategy & Architecture
• Define the OneTru platform-level experience model, including workflow structures, task flows, navigation, and reusable UX patterns.
• Translate user journeys into scalable workflows and design frameworks that support multiple personas and operational contexts
• Develop and govern a shared UX pattern library and design system in collaboration with engineering.
User Insight Collaboration
• Partner with the U.S.-based Principal UX Researcher to translate research insights into actionable workflow decisions and design direction.
• Participate in interviews, shadowing, and workflow observation sessions to validate needs and inform design decisions.
Design Execution & Specification
• Lead high-level conceptual modeling, service blueprinting, and prototyping.
• Review and guide detailed wireframes and UI specifications to ensure usability, reusability, and platform consistency.
• Ensure designs are implementation-ready and aligned with engineering constraints and delivery milestones.
Leadership & Team Development
• Manage and mentor UX designers in Costa Rica and India.
• Establish design critique, documentation standards, and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate design delivery across distributed teams and time zones, ensuring clarity, velocity, and consistency.
• Advocate for design principles and user-centered decision-making with senior Product and Engineering stakeholders.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in UX design, interaction design, service design, or experience architecture for enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end workflows across multiple personas and operational systems.
• Proven ability to translate research insights into platform-level experience frameworks.
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring UX teams or acting as a senior-level design lead.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools; experience developing or scaling component libraries preferred.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills to influence alignment across Product, Engineering, and Architecture.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones (U.S. and India).
• Familiarity with AI/ML, data analytics environments, or workflow automation is a plus.
