The Sr. Integration Operations Engineer is crucial for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our core API and integration solutions, primarily utilizing MuleSoft and AWS to connect various systems, including Salesforce, to optimize insurance processes. This role involves hands-on operational management and continuous improvement of our integration infrastructure in a production environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure the consistent uptime and optimal performance of APIs and integrations on MuleSoft CloudHub and AWS through proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and effective support. Manage the full lifecycle of production deployments and releases using established CI/CD pipelines. Maintain and secure our MuleSoft and AWS integration infrastructure, implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and security protocols. Support and optimize integrations with Salesforce, applying best practices and collaborating with relevant teams. Leverage insurance domain knowledge to ensure compliance and align technical solutions with business needs. Drive automation of operational tasks and continuously improve integration processes for enhanced stability and efficiency. Document integration processes and troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate effectively with development, architecture, and business stakeholders to ensure successful and stable integrations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving integration issues in production. Ability to translate technical complexities into clear communication for both technical and non-technical audiences. Proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential operational risks. Analytical skills for performance monitoring and optimization. Excellent collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork. Adaptability to a dynamic technological environment.

Education & Experience:

A bachelor’s degree is required. Ideally, 7+ years of experience in integration operations or a related field, with significant experience supporting production environments. Proven experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and relevant AWS services. Familiarity with Salesforce integration principles and CI/CD practices.
