Key Responsibilities
Own portfolio-level financial integrity — monitor, reconcile, and report on all cost and cash movements across the AQCS project portfolio on a monthly and ongoing basis, ensuring consistency across all financial records.
Lead project financial reviews — drive the Project Management Review (PMR) process, including regular cost and cash conversations with project teams, identifying risks early and ensuring no financial surprises reach leadership.
Manage foreign exchange exposure — develop a thorough understanding of foreign exchange (FX) dynamics affecting projects and conduct at least quarterly full reconciliations of all FX positions (cash inflows and outflows) in coordination with the treasury function.
Advise on taxes, duties, and insurance — provide clear, practical guidance to project controllers on tax obligations, insurance requirements, and import/export duties, and model the impact on project cost and cash flow.
Support claims and risk assessment — contribute to claim compilation efforts and financial risk evaluations, ensuring project teams have accurate and defensible financial data.
Ensure audit readiness and internal controls — implement and maintain project-level internal controls in full compliance with GE Vernova standards, and support reviews conducted by Corporate Audit Services (CAS) or external auditors, including balance sheet reconciliation of project-related positions.
