What's the role?
The Senior Director Sales - Global Automotive Accounts leads a team responsible for major North American Automotive OEM accounts. This role focuses on expanding key customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and promoting thought leadership in Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) technology, including location-enabled digital cabins and ADAS. Success requires leading geographically dispersed teams, exceeding sales targets, and building strong C-suite relationships to close large, complex software and services deals. Experience in executing sales strategies in competitive, evolving markets is essential, along with internal and external collaboration for creating winning offers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Target new pipeline, bookings, and revenue within existing automotive customers.
- Engage and maintain relationships with C-suite and senior leaders in the automotive industry.
- Lead cross-functional teams (product, engineering, legal, etc.) to close business opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial and technical teams to develop value-driven proposals.
- Develop and implement account strategies to maximize value for both customers and HERE.
- Oversee pricing and customer contract negotiations.
- Maintain CRM and sales forecasts for management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with HERE's lifecycle management principles.
- Engage and motivate a geographically dispersed team to generate pipeline and build relationships with global OEMs.
- Provide direction to implement strategic account plans.
- Drive collaboration across HERE teams to meet deliverables.
- Foster a curious, challenger mindset to address business challenges and initiatives.
How You'll Impact the Customer:
- Develop deep relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within the global OEM and execute the global OEM growth strategy
- Creates and executes specific OEM business plan -responsible for generating pipeline opportunities and building relationships at existing OEM accounts.
- Expert at identifying and leading appropriate resources (internal and external) required to develop and execute complex software sales in the digital cabin and ADAS space
- Facilitates the decision making process for customers.
- Blends commercial and technical (platform, software architecture, hardware co nfigurations, and emerging technologies) to establish credibility with key influencers in account/partnerships
Who are you?
- 15+ years of successful Business to Business sales experience in the within the automotive technology space (software, IVI, ADAS)
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Automotive/Tier 1 Supplier industry knowledge required with established relationship network at OEM
- Proven experience in executing a complex sales process leveraging commercial and technical pre-sales resources
- Ability to make effective sales presentations and to answer questions regarding HERE's services and products.
The expected base salary range for this position is $227,000 to $250,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. This role is eligible for a sales incentive plan with a target of 66.7 % of base salary. Final payouts depend on individual and company performance
